Color grading is the final creative step in the filmmaking process, where creators give form to the aesthetic they’ve been striving for—one that enhances the storytelling. It brings to life the dreamed-up image. The job of a colorist is complex and exciting. It requires visual experience, artistic sensitivity, technical expertise, and a deep ability to listen. My long-standing experience as a shading operator, aerial camera specialist, Digital Imaging Technician and image operator constantly enriches my work as a colorist.
